There's a rhythm to everything.
That's what the tabla keeps teaching me.
The more time I've spent with it, the more I've learned to connect with it and trust where it leads me.
The tabla has opened doors across the UK and around the world, performing, teaching and sharing North Indian music with new audiences.
Through performing and teaching, I've learned that the most meaningful moments happen when art becomes a shared language.
Photography
Photography is my other instrument.
As with music, you can't force it, you've got to feel it.
I've documented people, places and everyday experiences around the world.
I'm fascinated by colour, pattern and rhythm, but it's the incredible people I meet along the way who show me new perspectives on life.
I share the world as I feel it.
Education
Belonging unlocks everything.
Throughout my career, I've brought people together through music, photography and in higher education, creating spaces where people can connect, share ideas and discover new possibilities.
The most meaningful moments happen when people feel part of something bigger than themselves. That's when confidence develops and transformation begins.
