Wholio Le Parc???
Never heard of him until my visit to the Tate Modern the other day.
“Julio Le Parc” that is.
A Modern op (optical) and kinetic artist - according to Google.
From what I saw, he’s part scientist, engineer, mathematician, colour theorist, painter, tech wizard and tons more. Master of curiosity, play and making the participant a part of the work.
From the short video I watched, he wasn’t that bothered about working with the big wigs of the world. He even got his 8 year old son to flip a coin to decide if he should do a massive show at a gallery in Paris, or not! He never did that show. (Tails always fails people!)
He’s all about exploring every single idea that comes to mind (and re-exploring ideas he had years and years ago)!
I was definitely in my happy place checking out this exhibition.
